The Federation of Savings and Credit Cooperatives of Thailand Limited (FSCT) received a request from the Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU) and the National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO) to organize a study visit for 20 delegates from United Resources Credit Cooperative Limited (URCC) to a hospital savings and credit cooperative in Thailand.
The objective is to provide them with an opportunity to observe and learn from the professional management and standard operations that characterize Thailand’s savings and credit cooperative based in hospital settings.
URCC is a small asset size cooperative based in a hospital with 4 years operation and 200 individual members.
Therefore, FSCT arranged for them the visit to Vachira Hospital Savings Cooperative Limited in Bangkok which has operated for 49 years and more with stability and prosperity. The meeting between them was informative and fruitful.
