The Federation of Savings and Credit Cooperatives of Thailand Limited (FSCT) participated in the Virtual Study Visit Program hosted by Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU) and the Cooperative Credit Union League of Bangladesh Limited (CCULB) featuring Rajnagar United Cooperative Credit Union Limited (RUCCU) on January 17, 2022.The program contained 125 CU leaders and professionals from Australia, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Lao, Nepal, Philippines and Thailand.
RUCCU is a member ofCCULB. Its field of membership is in a community where most residents are farmers, traders, small entrepreneurs, and homemakers.Founded in 1990, RUCCU provides their members with products and services that build their lives. RUCCU has 12,969 members and assets of USD 7 million. Its businesses and activities have been successful for 31 years because of experienced and skilled management and staffs. Nowadays, RUCCU has not implemented only financial business but also social, educational and welfare services to the members. It has got the Best Cooperative Award in 2004 from Bangladesh government and Memorial of Honor in several years, including in 2021.
