On May 24, 2022, Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU) facilitated 10 representatives from African Confederation of Co-operative Savings and Credit Associations (ACCOSCA) and Kenya National Police DT SACCO to visit Federation of Savings and Credit Cooperatives of Thailand Limited (FSCT).
The heritage and history of Kenya National Police DT SACCO dated back to 1972 and the society celebrated 50 years anniversary in March this year. This would be a moment to reflect on what they have been able to do over the last five decades and also looking into the future. As of December 2021, Kenya National Police DT SACCO has about 65,606 individual members with deposits of 23,515,169,000 KSHs, loans to members of 37,289,924,000 KSHs, share capital of 3,035,852,000 KSHs and institutional capital of 10,754,891,000 KSHs.
