Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU) organized the Virtual Credit Union Study Program on October 6, 2021, featuring Philippine Federation of Credit Cooperatives (PFCCO) and Exponent Credit Cooperative in Philippines. The participants consisted of 142 Asian Credit Union leaders from 9 countries. The purpose of the program is to introduce its business such as operation, history, members, challenges, products and services.
Exponent Credit Cooperative is a member of the PFCCO Network. Its field of membership is in a community where most residents are farmers, traders, small entrepreneurs, and homemakers. On the onset of COVID 19, beginning 2020, the cooperative officially started its operations. The program features the cooperative’s adoption of the Kaya Payment Platform (digitization services) and business development services (online training and activity) supported by National Credit Union Federation of Korea (NACUFOK) to gain traction in serving its members and proving its worth as a cooperative financial institution that builds people's lives.
