The situation of the Covid-19 outbreak spread out globally. Regrettably, Thailand is also affected from the pandemic. FSCT are concerning about health risk of Thai people and members of the savings and credit cooperatives movement all over country including the economic crisis in the world. FSCT plays as an influential role since we are the apex organization of the savings and credit cooperatives in Thailand. We concern about the difficulties and financial issue for our memberβs life as well. Therefore, we have launched the 3 months of grace period on principal repayment to our member cooperatives.
Furthermore, we realize that the social responsibility is very significant. These days, some of FSCTβs staffs work from home and comply with the social distancing to reduce the over-crowding problem at the office and also self-isolation at home in order to responding the mandate and recommendation by the government.
On April 10, 2020, Pol.Lt.Gen.Viroj Satayasansakul, President of FSCT, Dr. Somnuk Boonyai, General Manager subsidize to the hospitals and also contribute face masks, alcohol sanitizer gels, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), snack boxes and water to the front-liners from 12 hospitals and 12 police stations in Nonthaburi.
