FSCT Board of Directors and members attended the 2019 ACCU Forum and AGM

     Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU) conducted the 2019 ACCU Forum and AGM during 26-29 September 2019 at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Therefore, the Federation of Savings and Credit Cooperatives of Thailand Limited (FSCT) as a Regular Member of ACCU presented Board of Directors, Supervisors and Staffs participated in the aforementioned forum and AGM.
      For the 2019 ACCU Forum, 2 days Forum, during 27-28 September 2019 in theme "Making Positive Impact on Lives of People : Through Ethical Cohesion for Financial Stability, Good Governance and Inclusivity of Asian Credit Union Networks" The mentioned-forum is concerning about the relationship of SACCO/CU and Network Integration, Good Governance, Technology and KAYA Payment Platform.
      In the opening session program, there are 753 attendees from 24 countries and also 34 cooperators from Thailand, held at Manhattan Ballroom. Association of Cooperative Credit Unions of Malaysia (ACCUM) and Worker’s Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. (KKP) as co-host provided a fantastic welcome performance to attendees. Besides, Mr. Kim Younsik, ACCU President and NACUFOK Chairman & President addressed a welcome speech in the opening session.
      For the topic in 2 days forum by the leading resources speaker from other countries such as Singapore, Philippines, Australia, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal and Malaysia etc.

           1.2 Good Governance: Lessons Learned - No Holes Barred Sharing of Governance Failures and Cases in Credit Unions
           1.3 Inclusivity: Building a Diverse and Inclusive Financial Services as Contribution to the Achievement of SDGs
      The co-host, ACCUM and KKP, organized "Malaysia Night" which provided the dinner and balance of Traditional & Contemporary performances in the first night of the forum.

      At the last night, ACCUM and KKP organized "International Night" which had the token auction from different countries and also concert and cultural costume.
      For the 2020 ACCU Forum and AGM, the honorable co-hosts are Nepal Federation of Savings and Credit Co-Operative Unions Ltd. (NEFSCUN) and National Cooperative Bank Ltd. (NCBL) in September 2020. It is a great opportunity for Asian SACCO/CU leaders to exchange the ideas, information and experiences mutually again next year.
