ACCU hold the study visit of the delegates from the Department of Cooperatives (DoC), Bangladesh to Thailand on January 6 to 12, 2018. The total numbers of participants are 21. They requested FSCT to seek an outstanding SACCO in Bangkok to visit and also provided them learning opportunity by visiting FSCT. Therefore, FSCT led ACCU and the delegates from DoC, completely 22 individuals to visit Kasetsart University SACCO on January 8.
Kasetsart University SACCO was established on January 6, 1959 with 110 members. The vision is “To be a leading savings and credit cooperative, serving Kasetsart University community with outstanding welfare and transparent operation. The mission is to “Promote saving among members, provide loans, welfare and knowledge to members with impressive services, advanced technology and efficient management, as well as invest excess fund effectively, and in order to improve the members’ quality of life and hold to the self-sufficient economy principle and social responsibility. On January 10, ACCU and the delegates from DoC came to visit FSCT. We paid attention and spread them the warmest hospitality as always. We also offered them learning opportunity on savings and credit cooperative movement in Thailand and FSCT’s stories, performance, management, our products and services. We wish they will gain much more knowledges from us and KU SACCO which can apply to the credit unions in Bangladesh.
